Petrol Question

MessageAuthor

Over here in France the fishermen have gone on strike. A result, not sure how is that there is a fuel shortage. Guess fishermen are blocking ports or something. Anyway, as most of the 'frenchies' have diesel cars that has been the first shortage. All of our cars run on Unleaded 95 ron. Can, if needed we go onto 98 ron? Our cars are: 1)Volvo 240GL (B200E) with 2 head gasket conversion to run unleaded. 2) Volvo 480ES Turbo Auto (B18FT) 3) My daughters 96' Citroen Saxo 1.0ltr (with cat) Thanks.

RE: Petrol Question

Hi Paul Not sure if this helps, my hubby tells me that we get 95 and 98 here (Unleaded and Super Unleaded). Have a look at the link ... Carmen

RE: Petrol Question

Hi Carmen, after a quick look, prior to turning in for the night! I reckon the 480 & Saxo would be okay, still not sure about the 240 with the 'mod'. Many thanks

RE: Petrol Question

Would have thought the 240 would run okay. Its a higher grade of fuel.
