V70 Heater Problem I think.

Good evening all this will be my maiden post so i hope it works ok, Car is R reg V70 20valve 2.5lt estate,heater dosent seem to be very powerfull when in screen clearing mode,it does blow but not as powerfull as i think it should.It seems to work ok and powerfully when in all other modes. Does it work on the gate system? I might add its the fully auto system,with air con.Can anyone point me in the right direction,you,r help would be much appreciated.

I think you will find that's the way it is, both the 850 and the classic V70 I had would never clear the screen properly from cold, there was lots of blower noise but very little air flow to the screen.

Hi, just to add, if your V70 has a/c then if this is working, with it on, the screen should clear fairly quickly with the controls on demist. It will be much slower to clear if the a/c is not working.
