There was a special edition called the Volvo 'Thor' which looked a bit like that, most of the ones I've seen were black, I think the roof was lowered - although it may be the same on the 262C for all I know.

that car was forsale on turbo bricks...if no one baught it it was off to the crusher... last i saw no one was intrested. and yes its a proper 262 but with the front changed iirc.

That's a 1978 model year front , i would think someone has changed it , The body is 262 C by Bertone . Thor was a normal 244 body in Black .

It could be converted back to an original front end fairly easily if it is worth saving.

I wonder what my chances of gettin some 244 Thor badges for my car would be? That would be great but id have to put them in a different position to the ones on the proper "Thor" to make it a bit different.

With the Thor being a limited Edition I think would be very hard to find. I would keep checking ebay and put a wanted advert on the forum. You could also try Brookhouse.
